You Can Now Ask Meta AI Questions About Your Ad Campaigns

Aug 25
1 min read

Meta AI now lets advertisers ask plain-language questions about their Meta Ads campaigns and get answers pulled directly from Ads Manager data. Instead of digging through columns, breakdowns, and reports, you can simply ask.

How it works

To get started, open Meta AI, log in with the Meta account connected to your ad accounts, and start asking questions about your campaigns. Meta AI can review which audiences are delivering results, spot patterns across your top-performing creative, flag ads that may be losing steam, and suggest changes to campaigns and budget allocation.

It can also analyze performance over a chosen time period and turn its findings into usable output, such as a summary document, a spreadsheet, or even a short presentation deck.

Practical ways to use it

  • "Why did this campaign's cost per result spike this week?" for quick triage.

  • "Which audiences are driving the most conversions this month?" instead of manually building a breakdown.

  • "Summarize my Q3 ad performance and flag anything unusual" to save time on reporting.

  • "What creative themes are performing best across my active campaigns?" to guide your next round of ad testing.

A few things to keep in mind

Meta AI answers the question you ask, in fairly general terms, and it won't automatically rank your account's problems by urgency or hand you a prioritized action list. Treat it as a fast way to interrogate your data, not a replacement for a strategist who understands your specific goals and account history. As always, verify any recommendation against your own numbers before making budget or targeting changes.
